Oxygen in its liquid state is a chilly -297 degrees Fahrenheit, making it crucial to use specialized equipment and materials that can withstand such frigid conditions. Furthermore, liquid oxygen is highly reactive and can ignite easily with the slightest provocation. This means that any contact with organic materials, such as rubber or oil, must be strictly avoided to prevent accidental fires or explosions.
