The poor have a hard time getting out of poverty because they are trapped in a vicious cycle of deprivation. This cycle starts with the lack of education and job opportunities, which leads to low income and inadequate housing. Without proper housing, health and sanitation conditions deteriorate, leading to illness and disease. The high cost of healthcare further drains their already limited resources, pushing them deeper into poverty. As a result of their poor living conditions, the children of the poor are more likely to drop out of school, perpetuating the cycle of illiteracy and limited job prospects. Without education, they are unable to secure higher-paying jobs and are forced to settle for menial labor that barely covers their basic needs.
