In my experience, I've come to understand the significance of having a strong support system in place. Growing up in a working-class family in Appalachia, I witnessed firsthand the impact that a lack of support can have on one's ability to succeed. Without the encouragement and guidance of those around me, I may not have been able to overcome the many obstacles that stood in my way.
Having a support system doesn't just mean having people who cheer you on from the sidelines. It also involves having individuals who can provide practical help and advice when needed. I was fortunate to have family members and mentors who were there for me when I needed them most. They offered me a helping hand when I stumbled, and they pushed me to strive for more when I felt like giving up.
