Helpless boy trapped in spectral realm from "summary" of Haunted House by Jan Pienkowski

In the dimly lit corridors of the haunted house, a young boy finds himself lost and alone. His heart pounds in his chest as he realizes he is trapped in a spectral realm, a place where the living should not tread. Shadows dance on the walls, whispering secrets that send shivers down his spine. The boy's footsteps echo through the empty halls as he searches for a way out, but the walls seem to shift and change before his eyes. He calls out for help, but his voice is swallowed by the eerie silence that surrounds him. Every door he tries is locked tight, every window barred against escape. As the hours pass, the boy's fear grows, a gnawing sensation in the pit of his stomach. He can feel eyes watching him from the shadows, malevolent spirits lurking just out of sight. The air grows colder, sending a chill through his bones that he cannot shake. Desperation grips the boy as he realizes the truth of his situation. He is at the mercy of forces beyond his understanding, trapped in a realm where the laws of the living no longer apply. His only hope lies in finding a way to appease the spirits that hold him captive, to earn their favor and secure his release. With each passing moment, the boy's resolve hardens. He must face his fear head-on, must confront the darkness that threatens to consume him. For in the spectral realm of the haunted house, only the bravest souls can hope to find their way back to the world of the living.
