Harry makes friends with Ron and Hermione from "summary" of Harry Potter - The Illustrated Collection by J. K. Rowling

Throughout the train ride, Ron and Hermione helped Harry navigate the unfamiliar world of magic and wizardry. Ron shared stories about his family and their magical adventures, while Hermione eagerly shared her extensive knowledge of spells and potions. By the time they arrived at Hogwarts, Harry knew that he had found true friends in Ron and Hermione. Together, they faced the challenges and mysteries that awaited them at the magical school, forming an unbreakable bond that would carry them through many adventures in the years to come.
