Harry competes in the Triwizard Tournament from "summary" of Harry Potter - The Illustrated Collection by J. K. Rowling
The Goblet of Fire had been behaving strangely. It was supposed to be used to choose the three schools’ champions for the Triwizard Tournament, but somehow, Harry’s name was mysteriously added to the selection. Despite being too young to participate, the magical contract signed by his name meant he had no choice but to compete. The Tournament consisted of three dangerous tasks, designed to test the champions’ magical abilities and bravery. Harry faced many challenges throughout the Tournament, including battling a Hungarian Horntail dragon, navigating a dangerous underwater maze, and facing his worst fear in a magical duel. Despite being at a disadvantage due to his age and lack of experience, Harry managed to overcome each task with the help of his friends and his own determination. However, it soon became clear that someone had manipulated the Tournament to put Harry in mortal danger.
As the Tournament progressed, tensions rose between the competing schools and suspicions grew about the true intentions behind the dangerous tasks. When the final task led to a shocking revelation and a dangerous encounter with Lord Voldemort, Harry’s survival seemed uncertain. In the end, he emerged victorious but scarred by the events that had unfolded. The Triwizard Tournament had tested not only his magical abilities but also his courage and resilience in the face of darkness.
