The mystery of the Chamber of Secrets is resolved from "summary" of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling

The Chamber of Secrets had been opened. Students were being petrified and the school was in a state of fear. Harry, Ron, and Hermione were determined to uncover the truth behind this mystery. They found a piece of paper in Hermione's hand that pointed them to a history book. The book revealed the existence of the Chamber of Secrets and its monster, the Basilisk. As they delved deeper, they discovered that Tom Riddle, a student from fifty years ago, had framed Hagrid for opening the Chamber the first time. Riddle's diary was a Horcrux, containing a piece of his soul that had been possessing Ginny Weasley, causing her to open the Chamber once again. Harry realized that he could speak Parseltongue, the language of snakes, just like Riddle. He entered the Chamber to save Ginny, facing the Basilisk in a fierce battle. In the Chamber, Harry encountered Tom Riddle's memory, who revealed his true identity as Lord Voldemort. Riddle intended to use the Basilisk to rid the school of Muggle-borns. However, Harry's loyalty and bravery strengthened the power of Dumbledore's phoenix, Fawkes, who brought him the Sorting Hat. From the hat, Harry drew out Godric Gryffindor's sword and slew the Basilisk. In the final showdown, Fawkes healed Harry's wounds from the Basilisk's venom. With the monster defeated, the Chamber was closed, and the mystery was finally resolved. The school was saved, and the petrified students were restored. Harry's actions had once again thwarted Voldemort's plans, proving his courage and resourcefulness. As the school year came to an end, Harry knew that the darkness of the Chamber of Secrets would always be a part of Hogwarts' history, but it was a chapter that had been closed, its secrets laid bare for all to see.
