This can be a difficult concept for many educators to grasp, as we have been conditioned to believe that our role is to impart knowledge onto our students. However, when we empower students to take ownership of their learning, we are giving them the tools they need to succeed in the real world. When students are actively engaged in their learning, they are more likely to retain information and apply it in various contexts.
