Our society is built on the foundation of fertile soil, and if we continue to degrade it, we risk our ability to produce enough food for everyone. In order to ensure food security for future generations, we must prioritize the health of our soils. The conventional agricultural practices that have dominated our food production systems for decades have taken a toll on soil health. Tilling the soil, relying on chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and monocropping have all contributed to the degradation of our soils.
