Public education, as it exists in many countries today, is often characterized by rigid structures and standardized curricula. Students are taught to memorize facts and regurgitate information, rather than to think critically and creatively. This approach to education can stifle innovation and creativity, as students are not encouraged to question, experiment, or think outside the box. When students are constantly told what to learn and how to learn it, they lose the opportunity to explore their own interests and passions. They are not given the freedom to pursue knowledge on their own terms, which can inhibit their ability to think creatively and come up with new ideas.
