William Afton horrifying killer from "summary" of Five Nights at Freddy's Character Encyclopedia (An AFK Book) by Scott Cawthon

William Afton was a notorious killer who left a tremendous impact in the society. He committed his murders during the 1980s and 1990s when people began to reveal truth behind his ruthless killing sprees. His modus operandi consisted of stealthily breaking into family homes and killing people with an axe or other various weapons.

Unfortunately, several witnesses had reported seeing a shady figure around the scene of the crime but no one ever stepped forward to catch him. This enabled William Afton to keep on murdering innocent people resulting in him getting the nickname "The Horrifying Killer".

The fear of his actions left citizens scared and frightened as they lived everyday with uncertainty of their safety. Police departments across the nation did everything possible to try and capture William Afton but unfortunately he remained hidden.

What made William's killings even more heinous is that despite multiple victims, there were never any suspects apprehended for these crimes. His victims were often found dead with evidence of torture and he managed to stay under the radar as authorities cound not identify him due to lack of evidence or clues at crime scenes.

Since nobody knew what he looked like, it was nearly impossible to find him. His enemies thought that he had gone away forever but little do they know he still continues to terrorise families until this day.
