Xerox PARC was a research and development facility that was set up by Xerox Corporation in the early 1970s. It was located in Palo Alto, California, and was tasked with exploring new technologies and coming up with innovative ideas that could be applied to Xerox products in the future. The team at Xerox PARC was made up of some of the brightest minds in the industry, including computer scientists, engineers, and designers. One of the key innovations to come out of Xerox PARC was the development of the graphical user interface, or GUI.
