Embracing mystery allowed me to embrace my faith from "summary" of Finding God in the Waves by Mike McHargue
When I allowed myself to accept that there were aspects of my faith that I couldn't fully understand, it opened up a new depth to my relationship with God. I used to think that faith required having all the answers, that doubt and uncertainty were signs of weakness or lack of faith. But as I delved deeper into my spiritual journey, I began to realize that embracing mystery was actually a powerful way to strengthen my faith. By acknowledging that there were things about God and the universe that were beyond my comprehension, I was able to let go of the need for certainty and control. I started to see that faith wasn't about having all the right answers, but about trusting in something bigger than myself.
