Live fully in the now from "summary" of Fear by Thich Nhat Hanh
In the present moment, there is no fear. When we focus all our attention on the now, we can come into contact with the wonders of life that are available to us. By being fully present in the here and now, we can touch the beauty of a flower, the warmth of the sun on our skin, the sound of the wind in the trees. All of these things are happening in the present moment, and if we are not there to experience them, we are missing out on the richness of life. When we are caught in our fears and anxieties about the future or regrets about the past, we are not truly living. We are allowing our minds to control us, drawing us away from the only moment that truly exists - the present moment. By bringing our attention back to the now, we can release ourselves from the grip of fear and find peace and happiness in the present moment. The present moment is the only time when we can truly be alive. It is where we can find joy, peace, and fulfillment. When we are fully present in the now, we can appreciate the beauty of life in all its forms. We can connect deeply with ourselves and with others, forming meaningful relationships and experiencing true intimacy. Living fully in the now requires practice and mindfulness. It means letting go of our worries and regrets and focusing on what is happening right in front of us. By cultivating mindfulness, we can train ourselves to be present in each moment, fully aware of what is happening within and around us. When we live fully in the now, we can let go of our fears and anxieties. We can see that they are just passing clouds in the sky of our minds, and that they do not have the power to control us. By staying present and centered in the now, we can face our fears with courage and compassion, knowing that we have the strength to overcome them. The key to living fully in the now is to practice mindfulness in all aspects of our lives. By being aware of our thoughts, feelings, and actions in each moment, we can stay grounded in the present and experience life to its fullest. When we are fully present, we can let go of our fears and live with joy, peace, and gratitude.Similar Posts
