Fear is a strong emotion that can cause us a great deal of suffering. When we experience fear, our instinct is often to push it away or ignore it. We may try to distract ourselves or suppress our feelings in an attempt to avoid facing our fears. However, this approach only serves to amplify our fear and make it more difficult to overcome. Instead of turning away from fear, we can choose to embrace it with compassion. By acknowledging our fear and approaching it with kindness and understanding, we can begin to disarm its power over us. When we confront our fear with compassion, we create space for healing and transformation to take place. Compassion is the antidote to fear.
