The prevailing idea of eternal inflation posits that our universe is just one of many bubble universes that constantly pop into existence and expand. Each of these bubble universes has its own unique physical properties, determined by the initial conditions at the moment of creation. This theory suggests that the multiverse is a vast, chaotic collection of universes, each with its own laws of physics, completely disconnected from one another. If these other universes are truly disconnected from ours, there should be no way to observe or interact with them, making it impossible to confirm their existence. One such theory is the cyclic model of the universe, which posits that our universe goes through an endless cycle of expansion and contraction. In this model, the Big Bang is not a one-time event but part of a recurring process that has no beginning or end. By reconsidering the concepts of multiverse and eternal inflation, physicists are opening up new avenues for exploring the nature of the cosmos. While these ideas have sparked intense debate within the scientific community, they also offer fresh perspectives on the fundamental questions of existence and the origins of the universe.
