Earth is our home from "summary" of Earth from Above: 365 Days by Yann Arthus-Bertrand

The Earth is not just a place where we live; it is our home. It provides us with everything we need to survive - clean air to breathe, fresh water to drink, and fertile soil to grow our food. We are intricately connected to the Earth, as our lives depend on its health and well-being. When we see the Earth from above, we gain a new perspective on our planet. We can see its vast oceans, sprawling forests, and towering mountains. We can witness the beauty and diversity of life that exists on Earth, from the smallest insects to the largest mammals. But we can also see the impact that humans have had on the Earth. Our cities sprawl across the landscape, emitting pollution into the air and water. Our industrial activities have caused deforestation, pollution, and climate change. We have exploited the Earth's resources without considering the long-term consequences. Despite our destructive actions, the Earth continues to provide for us. It has the capacity to heal and regenerate, given the chance. We must recognize that we are not separate from the Earth; we are a part of it. We must take responsibility for our actions and work towards creating a sustainable future for ourselves and for the Earth. By understanding that the Earth is our home, we can make choices that protect and preserve it for future generations. We must strive to live in harmony with the Earth, respecting its limits and working towards a more sustainable way of life. Only then can we ensure that the Earth will continue to be a home for all living beings.
