Bridging divides through dialogue from "summary" of Dreams from My Father by Barack Obama

Dialogue has the power to heal. It can bring people together, even those who seem irreconcilably different. Through conversation, we can find common ground, build understanding, and ultimately bridge the divides that separate us. It is not an easy task, but it is a necessary one if we are to move forward as a society. In my own experience, I have seen the transformative power of dialogue.
