Greg's best friend is Rowley from "summary" of Diary of a Wimpy Kid (Diary of a Wimpy Kid #1) by Jeff Kinney
At the start of the school year, I was best friends with Rowley. We did everything together, like playing video games. But then everything changed when Rowley decided to join the Safety Patrol. I couldn't believe it. Safety Patrol was for losers, and I didn't want to be associated with it. Rowley started hanging out with other kids from the Safety Patrol, and I felt left out. I tried to show him how ridiculous he looked in his orange sash and belt, but he didn't care. It was like he didn't even want to be friends with me anymore. I tried to find a new best friend, but it was harder than I thought. No one could replace Rowley. Eventually, I realized that I missed him, even if he was a Safety Patrol geek. I swallowed my pride and asked him to be my friend again. Rowley was happy to have me back, and we were best friends once more. I learned that true friendship is about accepting each other, even when we disagree or do things that seem silly. Rowley may not be the coolest or smartest kid, but he's always there for me when I need him. And that's what matters the most.Similar Posts
