In the crumbling ruins of the castle, the de Villiers children found themselves in the most peculiar of circumstances. They were surrounded by ghosts - friendly ghosts, mind you, but ghosts nonetheless. It was an unconventional situation, to say the least, but the children adapted surprisingly well. At first, they were understandably shocked by the presence of the ghostly inhabitants. Who wouldn't be, when faced with such a supernatural phenomenon? But as days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, the children began to accept their spectral roommates as just another part of their daily lives. The ghosts, for their part, were more than happy to have the children around.
