In order to truly uphold the ideals of democracy, we must recognize that the health of our planet is inextricably linked to the health of our political system. By prioritizing environmental sustainability, we are not only preserving the natural world for future generations, but also ensuring that our democratic societies remain vibrant and resilient. Only by working together to protect our environment can we create a more just and equitable world for all.
