Encourage girls to make their own choices from "summary" of Dear Ijeawele, or A Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Encourage girls to make their own choices. Teach them to question the idea that women are always meant to be passive, to always defer to others. Instead, instill in them the belief that their opinions matter, that their desires are important. Allow girls to explore different interests and hobbies, regardless of stereotypes or societal expectations. Let them know that it is okay to be interested in traditionally male-dominated fields, just as it is okay to be interested in traditionally female-dominated ones. Support girls in making decisions for themselves, whether it be about their education, career, or personal relationships. Encourage them to trust their instincts and to follow their passions, even if it means going against the grain. Teach girls to assert themselves, to speak up for what they believe in. Show them that it is possible to be assertive without being aggressive, to be confident without being arrogant. Help girls understand that it is okay to say no, to set boundaries, to prioritize their own needs and well-being. Encourage them to stand up for themselves, to not be afraid to demand respect from others. Above all, show girls that they are capable of shaping their own destinies, that they have the power to create the lives they want for themselves. Let them know that their worth is not determined by others, but by their own sense of self-worth and self-respect.
