The process of generating creative ideas is often misunderstood. Many people believe that creativity is about constantly pushing and striving, working harder and harder to come up with something truly original and innovative. However, this approach is not only exhausting but also counterproductive. In my experience, creative ideas tend to emerge when we are in a state of relaxed attention. This means being able to let go of the need to constantly force our brains to perform and instead allowing our minds to wander freely. When we are in a relaxed state, our brains are able to make connections between seemingly unrelated concepts, leading to new and innovative ideas. This concept of relaxed attention is crucial for fostering creativity because it allows our subconscious minds to take over and work in the background, making connections and associations that our conscious minds may not be able to grasp. ...Similar Posts
