We live in a world that constantly tells us that we need more, that we need the latest gadgets, the newest clothes, the trendiest accessories. We are bombarded with messages that tell us that our worth is tied to what we own, to the things that we accumulate throughout our lives. But the truth is that all of these things are temporary. They can be here one moment and gone the next. We can spend our whole lives chasing after possessions, only to have them slip through our fingers when we least expect it.
