Executive branch implements laws and policies from "summary" of Constitution of India by Fali S. Nariman
The duty to implement laws and policies falls squarely on the shoulders of the Executive branch. Once the legislature has passed a law, it is the Executive's responsibility to ensure its proper execution. This includes not only enforcing the law but also creating the necessary administrative framework to make it work. The Executive branch is thus the driving force behind the implementation of laws and policies in the country. The Executive branch consists of the President, the Vice-President, the Prime Minister, and the Council of Ministers. It is through their collective efforts that the laws passed by the legislature are put into action. Each member of the Executive has a specific role to play in this process. For example, the President is the head of state and represents the country on the international stage, while the Prime Minister is the head of government and is responsible for running the day-to-day affairs of the country. The Council of Ministers, on the other hand, is made up of ministers who are in charge of different government departments. It is their duty to ensure that the laws passed by the legislature are properly implemented within their respective areas of jurisdiction. This division of responsibilities ensures that the implementation of laws and policies is carried out efficiently and effectively. In addition to enforcing laws, the Executive branch also plays a crucial role in formulating policies for the country. These policies are designed to address various issues facing the nation, such as economic development, social welfare, and national security. The Executive branch is responsible for crafting these policies and putting them into action through the appropriate administrative channels.- The Executive branch is the engine that drives the implementation of laws and policies in the country. Through the coordinated efforts of its various members, it ensures that the will of the legislature is translated into action for the benefit of the nation as a whole. As such, the Executive branch plays a vital role in upholding the rule of law and promoting good governance in the country.
