Despite the best intentions of those who establish and maintain these structures, they are subject to the flaws and limitations of human nature. Throughout history, we have seen countless examples of the failures and shortcomings of various institutions, whether they be political, social, or religious in nature. The City of Man, built upon the flawed foundations of human ambition and self-interest, is destined to crumble and decay.
