Chocolate River from "summary" of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Colour Edition) by Roald Dahl
There it was, right in the middle of the room - a river made entirely of chocolate. A river so thick and creamy, it looked like molten brown sugar flowing through the factory. The sight of it was enough to make anyone's mouth water. The river was not just any ordinary river. It was a river of pure, liquid chocolate, churning and bubbling as it flowed along. The smell of it was intoxicating, filling the air with the rich, sweet scent of cocoa. The chocolate river ran all the way through the room, disappearing into the distance. Along its banks were trees with lollipops for leaves and candy cane branches. The whole scene was like something out of a dream, a fantasy come to life. As Charlie and the other children stood there, staring in wonder at the chocolate river, they could hardly believe their eyes. It was a sight beyond their wildest imaginations, a sight that made their hearts race with excitement. But as they watched, they realized that the river was not just for looking at. It was there to be enjoyed, to be savored, to be tasted. And so, one by one, they dipped their hands into the chocolate, scooping up great handfuls and licking their fingers clean. The taste was like nothing they had ever experienced before - rich, velvety, and impossibly delicious. It was a taste that lingered on their tongues long after they had finished, leaving them craving more. And so, they continued to indulge in the chocolate river, losing themselves in its sweetness and forgetting all about the troubles of the world outside. For in that moment, all that mattered was the joy of being surrounded by chocolate, of being immersed in its decadence and delight.Similar Posts
