Remember, writing is a journey, not a destination from "summary" of Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott

Writing is a journey, not a destination. When you sit down to write, it can feel overwhelming. The blank page stares back at you, taunting you with its emptiness. But writing is not about reaching a specific end point; it's about the process of getting there. It's about putting one word in front of the other, stringing sentences together like beads on a necklace. Just like any journey, writing has its ups and downs. Some days the words flow effortlessly, and you feel like you're flying. Other days, it's like pulling teeth to get a single sentence out. But that's all part of the process. You have to embrace the journey, the good days and the bad, if you want to grow as a writer. Writing is not a linear path. It's more like a winding road that takes you through valleys and over mountains. Sometimes you might feel lost, unsure of where you're going or if you'll ever get there. But that's okay. The journey is where the magic happens. It's where you discover new ideas, new perspectives, new ways of looking at the world. Don't rush to get to the end, to have a finished product in your hands. Enjoy the journey. Embrace the process of writing, of putting your thoughts and feelings into words. Let the words guide you, lead you where they may. Trust in the journey, in the process of writing, and you'll find that the destination will take care of itself.
