The material world is a place of constant change and transformation. Everything in this world goes through a cycle of birth, growth, decay, and death. This cycle is eternal and continues endlessly. Just as the seasons change, life also goes through various stages. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna explains this eternal cycle of birth and death. He reveals that the soul is eternal and never dies. It simply changes bodies like we change clothes. At the time of death, the soul leaves one body and enters another, just as we discard old clothes and wear new ones. This process of birth and death is known as transmigration of the soul.
