The eternal cycle of birth and death from "summary" of BHAGAVAD GITA AS IT IS [NEPALI LANGUAGE]. by A.C. BHAKTIVEDANTA. SWAMI PRABHUPADA
The material world is a place of constant change and transformation. Everything in this world goes through a cycle of birth, growth, decay, and death. This cycle is eternal and continues endlessly. Just as the seasons change, life also goes through various stages. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna explains this eternal cycle of birth and death. He reveals that the soul is eternal and never dies. It simply changes bodies like we change clothes. At the time of death, the soul leaves one body and enters another, just as we discard old clothes and wear new ones. This process of birth and death is known as transmigration of the soul. The soul is never destroyed; it simply moves from one body to another. This cycle continues until the soul achieves liberation from material existence. Lord Krishna emphasizes the importance of understanding this eternal cycle of birth and death. By realizing the temporary nature of this material world, one can transcend the cycle of birth and death and attain spiritual liberation. This requires spiritual knowledge and self-realization. Through spiritual practices such as devotion, meditation, and selfless service, one can break free from the cycle of birth and death. By understanding the eternal nature of the soul and its relationship with the Supreme Soul, one can attain liberation and eternal happiness. Therefore, it is essential to recognize the eternal cycle of birth and death and strive for spiritual realization to transcend this cycle. By following the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and cultivating spiritual knowledge, one can attain liberation from the material world and achieve eternal bliss.Similar Posts
