Overcoming the cycle of birth and death from "summary" of BHAGAVAD GITA AS IT IS [HINDI LANGUAGE]. by A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda

The concept of overcoming the cycle of birth and death is a central theme in the Bhagavad Gita. According to Lord Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the material world is a place of birth and death, where living beings are bound by the laws of karma. In this cycle of birth and death, the soul transmigrates from one body to another, based on its past actions. To break free from this cycle, one must understand the true nature of the soul and its relationship with the Supreme Lord. The soul is eternal and indestructible, while the material body is temporary and perishable. By realizing this distinction, one can transcend the material world and attain liberation. Liberation, or moksha, is the ultimate goal of human life. It is the state of eternal bliss and knowledge, where the soul is free from the cycle of birth and death. To achieve liberation, one must cultivate detachment from material desires and dedicate oneself to the service of the Supreme Lord. One can attain liberation through various spiritual practices, such as meditation, yoga, and devotional service. By engaging in these practices with faith and sincerity, one can purify the mind and heart, and ultimately attain liberation from the cycle of birth and death. Lord Krishna emphasizes the importance of surrendering to Him and following His instructions in the Bhagavad Gita. He assures that those who surrender to Him with love and devotion will be freed from the cycle of birth and death and will attain the highest spiritual perfection.
