Cultivating a pure heart and mind from "summary" of BHAGAVAD GITA AS IT IS [HINDI LANGUAGE]. by A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda
The Bhagavad Gita teaches the importance of purifying the heart and mind in order to attain true spiritual growth. When our heart and mind are pure, we are able to connect with our inner self and with the divine. This purity allows us to transcend our material desires and attachments, and to focus on our spiritual journey. Purifying the heart and mind requires self-reflection, introspection, and a commitment to personal growth. It involves letting go of negative emotions such as anger, jealousy, and greed, and cultivating positive qualities such as love, compassion, and humility. By purifying our thoughts and intentions, we are able to align ourselves with the divine will and to live a life that is in harmony with the universe. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna teaches Arjuna that the pure in heart and mind are able to see the divine presence in all beings, and to treat others with kindness, compassion, and respect. By cultivating a pure heart and mind, we are able to overcome the ego and the illusion of separateness, and to experience unity with all of creation. The process of purifying the heart and mind is a lifelong journey that requires dedication, discipline, and perseverance. It involves practicing self-awareness, mindfulness, and meditation, and seeking the guidance of spiritual teachers and mentors. By purifying our thoughts, intentions, and actions, we are able to live a life that is guided by love, wisdom, and compassion.- Cultivating a pure heart and mind allows us to experience inner peace, joy, and fulfillment, and to connect with the divine presence that resides within us and all around us. It is through this purification process that we are able to realize our true nature and to live a life that is in alignment with our highest purpose and potential.
