Keep moving forward from "summary" of Be a Free Range Human by Marianne Cantwell

The idea of moving forward is so simple, it's almost too easy to overlook. It's the most basic principle of progress, the fundamental truth that underpins any kind of growth or development. Yet despite its simplicity, it's a concept that we often struggle to put into practice. We get stuck in our comfort zones, trapped by our fears and doubts, unable to take that crucial first step into the unknown. But when you really think about it, what other choice do we have? Life is a journey, and if we want to get anywhere, we have to keep moving. We have to push ourselves to take risks, to step out of our routines, to embrace the uncertainty that comes with change. Because when we stop moving forward, we stagnate. We become trapped in a cycle of repetition, doomed to live out the same patterns over and over again. It's not always easy, of course. Moving forward means facing our fears, confronting our insecurities, and dealing with the inevitable setbacks that come with any kind of growth. But the alternative is far worse. If we choose to stay where we are, we deny ourselves the opportunity to discover what we're truly capable of. We rob ourselves of the chance to explore new horizons, to learn from our mistakes, and to become the best version of ourselves that we can be. So don't be afraid to take that first step. Don't let fear or doubt hold you back. Keep moving forward, one small step at a time. Embrace the journey, embrace the uncertainty, and trust that the path will reveal itself to you as you go. And most importantly, remember that the only way to truly fail is to stop trying. So keep moving forward, no matter what.
