It was a cruel edict, imposed upon us with no mercy or compassion. The mere thought of seeking knowledge was forbidden, a sin punishable by severe consequences. We were deprived of the basic human right to expand our minds, to explore the world through the lens of education. The shackles of ignorance were placed upon us, chaining us to a life of darkness and oppression. Despite the oppressive nature of this decree, a glimmer of hope remained within us. Deep within our souls, a burning desire for knowledge flickered, refusing to be extinguished. We hungered for the light of learning, yearning to break free from the chains that bound us. The desire to learn was a flame that could not be snuffed out, a force that drove us to seek knowledge in secret, away from the prying eyes of our oppressors.
