The concept of moles is a fundamental part of chemistry that allows us to work with atoms on a practical scale. For example, if we want to know how many atoms are in a certain mass of a substance, we can use the molar mass of that substance to convert from grams to moles, and then from moles to atoms using Avogadro's number. This allows us to make accurate measurements and predictions in chemical reactions and other experiments.
