The principle of warfare is to take the lead in creating a situation, not following the enemy's lead. Be extremely subtle, even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious, even to the point of soundlessness. Thus you may be able to be the director of your opponent's fate. If your opponent is of choleric temper, seek to irritate him.
