In the Arctic, wildlife faces some of the harshest conditions on Earth. The extreme cold, long periods of darkness, and limited resources present constant challenges to survival. Despite these harsh conditions, Arctic wildlife has evolved remarkable adaptations that allow them to thrive in this unforgiving environment. For example, polar bears have thick layers of fur and blubber to insulate them from the cold, while Arctic foxes have dense fur and compact bodies to conserve heat. In addition to physical adaptations, Arctic wildlife also display incredible behavioral strategies to survive extreme conditions.
