Beauty of nature from "summary" of An Inquiry Into the Original of Our Ideas of Beauty and Virtue by Francis Hutcheson
The beauty of nature is something that has captivated people since ancient times. It is often seen as something with an intrinsic value, something that is able to move people and bring joy and admiration. It is an aspect of the world that has been a source of inspiration for many.- The beauty of nature is something that has been cherished throughout time and will continue to hold some type of profound meaning in our lives. Almost every culture has their own way of interpreting these natural wonders and encourages others to explore and appreciate them too. For example, Indigenous American tribes have believed in respecting and connecting to nature while viewing it holistically rather than in individual parts.
- Nature has its own unique characteristics that make it so beautiful and special. It's evident in the colors of a sunrise, the life within the oceans, and all the creatures living alongside us on this earth. From the sound of the wind to the smells of a lavender field, nature provides for us an inspiring experience full of awareness with each new sight and sound.
- Different people may view nature through differently colored glasses but everyone notices the beauty. We can find inspiration from reflections of mountains covered in snow, blooming fields of daisies, or even calmness hidden in empty city streets. Every one of us feels moved and inspired to do something from witnessing the world around us.
- Even when we aren't able to be close to nature, it can bring joy into our lives through memories of past experiences. Our mind and imaginations have the power to bring up old feelings, allowing us to re-live those moments and feel just as happy surrounded by nature's beauty husband watching a sunset from a beach or walking through a forest.
- Nature not only brings immediate pleasure by means of beauty, but teaches us virtually everything about life; from patience and resilience, to growth and perspective. It takes great effort and pause to get deep into the unpredictable elements of nature; however being able to gain insight gives us a lasting connection to something much bigger than ourselves.
