Stranded on a snowcovered mountain from "summary" of Adventures of Feluda: Incident on the Kalka Mail by Ray Satyajit

I found myself stranded on a snowcovered mountain and had no way out. A single shivering night in the open seemed unbearable to me. The strong gusts of icy wind further proved my discomfort as they pierce through my flesh. I was determined find a solution despite my guilt that filled me up.

Little did I know that on this perilous journey of trying to survive, I would discover something powerful about myself: resilience, strength, and inner courage I never knew existed before.

My hands trembled, partly due to cold and lighted anxieties.It took a while for me to get wood, set a spark and get the fire on. Finally, after all my efforts, I was glad to be able to generate some warmth. Soon I heard voices; rescuers were coming!

Desperately looking for help, I shouted endlessly but it felt like my voice just blended with the howling of the winds. At time seemed to have stopped altogether in this horrific situation. Then an idea hit me – what if I lit a fire?

As darkness descended, engulfed by its own beauty and surrealism, I became mesmerised with its charm and a heighten sense of well-being grew inside me. I knew I had conquered fear that once made me weak.

I started walking towards the light. I was drawn towards it like a moth to a flame. Miraculously, I could see silhouettes of people far away, getting bigger and louder. All of a sudden I was surrounded by family, friends, and strangers who offered kind words and warm hugs.

Feeling grateful for being rescued from this extreme predicament, I plucked out amounts of courage within to never put myself in such danger ever again. While there are risks worth taking in life, one mustn't push their limits too far or take sheer chances without proper guidance.
