They realize they are better together from "summary" of Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert

It took me a while to figure out that we weren’t just good together, we were great. We were each other’s missing piece, the final part of a puzzle we hadn’t even known we were trying to solve. It was like we had been wandering through life alone, stumbling and falling, until we found each other and suddenly everything made sense. I used to think that I was better off on my own, that I didn’t need anyone else to complete me. But Eve showed me that I was wrong. She made me realize that being with her didn’t take away my independence; it enhanced it. We were stronger together, able to face any challenge that came our way with confidence and grace. I could see it in the way we worked together, seamlessly blending our strengths and weaknesses to create something beautiful. We complemented each other in ways I hadn’t thought possible, filling in the gaps and smoothing out the rough edges until we fit together perfectly. It was a revelation, a sudden burst of clarity that left me breathless and grateful. I had never felt so connected to another person, so completely understood and accepted for who I was. And I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that we were meant to be together. So, we took a leap of faith, trusting in each other and in ourselves to build something lasting and true. And as we stood hand in hand, facing the future together, I knew that we were better together than we could ever be apart.
