From the very beginning, my mother made it clear that I was different from my siblings. She singled me out, treating me with disdain and subjecting me to her cruel and torturous ways. I was constantly placed in dangerous situations by her, forced to endure physical and emotional abuse that no child should ever have to experience. My mother seemed to take pleasure in watching me suffer, devising cruel punishments that left me broken and bruised.
