Sharing stories with loved ones from "summary" of 360 Degrees Longitude by John Higham

One of the most meaningful aspects of our journey was the opportunity to share stories with our loved ones. As we traveled around the world, we collected a treasure trove of experiences that we couldn't wait to share with our family and friends back home. From the breathtaking landscapes we encountered to the interesting people we met along the way, each story we told was a piece of the puzzle that made up our incredible journey. There is something truly special about sitting down with the people you care about and recounting your adventures. It's a way to not only relive those moments yourself but also to bring others along for the ride. Through our stories, we were able to transport our loved ones to the far-flung corners of the globe that we had visited, allowing them to experience a taste of the excitement and wonder that we had felt. Sharing stories also allowed us to deepen our connections with those we hold dear.
