However, it is important to recognize that not all billionaires have had to start from scratch or overcome significant obstacles to achieve success. By acknowledging that not all billionaires are self-made, we can have a more nuanced understanding of wealth and success in our society. We can recognize the role that privilege and advantage play in determining who becomes wealthy and who does not. This can help us create a more fair and equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background.
