Summary of Where We Belong

Where We Belong is a novel by Emily Giffin about the reunion of two childhood friends, Marian and Kirby, who had been separated for more than twenty years. Marian left her small town and made it big in the music industry in New York City, while Kirby stayed in their small town and started a family. When their paths cross again, they must confront the secrets of their past and decide if they are ready to take a leap of faith and discover where they truly belong. The novel explores the complex relationships between family, friends, and love, and ultimately shows that it's never too late to find out who you really are.
