The Horse Boy: A Father's Miraculous Journey to Heal His Son is the memoir of Rupert Isaacson, a British writer, filmmaker, and equine therapist who took his son Rowan, who suffers from autism and severe behavioral issues, on an incredible 12,000-mile journey across the Mongolian steppe to meet shamans and healers in an attempt to help cure his son.
