Summary of Suzume No Tojimari

Written by Michio Hisao, Suzume No Tojimari tells the story of two young lives that are intertwined in unexpected ways. On one side there's Akito, a young man from a village on the edge of a great mountain prefecture, who has always dreamed of going into the city and making something of himself. On the other side is Suzume, a young girl with a wild spirit and a free heart who lives in the city and is constantly searching for her place in the world. When the two meet, their lives begin to unfold in surprising directions, and as they both face the ups and downs of life together, a deep and unexpected connection is forged. Along the way they must deal with their own insecurities and doubts and discover that life is never what you expect it to be, but it can be exactly what you need.
