Summary of She Fell in Love with Her Best Friend

She Fell in Love with Her Best Friend is a novel about 18 year old Meg, who has just graduated high school and is trying to figure out what she wants for her future. She has deep, long-held feelings for her best friend, Luke, but has been too afraid to express them. During summer vacation, Meg takes a chance and reveals her true feelings to Luke, and finds out that he has been burying the same feelings in his heart all along. After a summer of learning to love themselves and each other, Meg and Luke must come to terms with the reality of their situation when they go back to college.
