I'm Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness is a 2018 memoir written by Austin Channing Brown. In the book, Brown uses her life as a lens to discuss her experiences as a Black woman in America. She also talks about her life in the church and how she had to navigate racism, sexism, and being second-guessed as she tries to live out her values. Brown shares stories of her personal and professional struggles, showing how she is navigating a world that is built on white privilege and expectations of Black womanhood. She also offers insight into how Americans can move towards becoming antiracists, creating better chances for collective liberation.
