Feuerbach - The Roots of the Socialist Philosophy. Theses on Feuerbach is a book by Karl Marx that evaluates the philosophical ideas of Ludwig Feuerbach, one of the leading Hegelian philosophers. Marx claims that Feuerbach's capitalist world-view is outdated and must be replaced with a socialist one. The book outlines the principles that, in Marx's view, must underpin Socialism and maintains that only through recognizing the fetishism of commodity production can it be overthrown. Furthermore, Marx argues that philosophy must be united with the 'material' and concrete in order to bring about constructive social change. The book ends with Marx's famous quote "Philosophers have hitherto only interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it."
