Summary of A Question of Power

A Question of Power is a novel written by South African author Bessie Head in 1973. The novel follows the struggles of protagonist Elizabeth, a woman living in a traditional African village in Botswana. Elizabeth is a strong-willed woman who lives a life of poverty and despair, yet is determined to make her life better.
